Overview:
This is a beautiful 1940s Kodak Ektar lens. I’ve adapted it to Leica-M mount with a high quality Yifeng focusing helicoid. I haven’t tried it on a Leica camera, but because it’s non-coupled you can’t use it with an optical viewfinder. The lens just about covers GFX tho, which surprised me. Focuses to around 40-50 cm to infinity. Aperture works. The shutter has been temporarily disabled (because there’s only Bulb and not T), but it can be but back in it’s original state with removing one screw from inside the shutter.

Condition:
Generally in a pretty good condition considering the age of the lens. I can see some micro scratches or cleaning marks when I put a strong LED light behind the optics to shine through it from the other side, on both sides. This of course exaggerate the damages, from a normal light it looks really good, and it shouldn’t have much to say on the image quality. There might be a very faint layer of haze. No fungus or mold.
